Is this a looks rating?
No. The score measures fit against what agencies publish: height, age and measurements for each category, plus things you can change, like your digitals. AI checks your photo's quality (light, filters, framing) and writes explanations. It does not rate your looks, and face shape is shown as styling information only.
Do I have to pay to apply to agencies?
No. Legit agencies never charge you to apply, and every agency link on this site is free. We are not an agency, we never submit for you, and we take no money from agencies, photographers or schools.
What happens to my photo?
Your face photo is resized on your phone with location data removed, sent to our server and checked for quality by Anthropic's Claude in memory, then dropped. It is never written to disk. The optional full-body photo never leaves your phone. We keep only derived numbers, and anonymous results are deleted after 30 days.
How is the score worked out?
By a deterministic engine: same inputs, same score. Each category has published weights and ranges, every threshold cites its source, and every score shows its confidence and a ± range. The whole rubric is on the methodology page.
Can my score go up?
Some of it. Height, age and adult measurements are fixed. Digitals, your submission kit, on-camera presence and posture can change, and your result says how many points are changeable and how many of those you can get for free today.
I'm under 18. Can I use it?
The check is for adults. If you're 13 to 17, the teen guide covers how scouting works, what agencies ask of parents, and how to spot scams. No photo, no score and no payment.
What do the paid plans add?
